What this site does

  • No cookies, no tracking. No advertising or analytics scripts. The one exception: if you have a MarketWatch account, logging in sets a single session cookie (mw, 30 days, deleted when you log out). It only keeps you logged in.
  • Server logs. Like every web server, this one records each request (IP address, time, page, browser) for security. From these logs I count visits in aggregate, without keeping IP addresses or building profiles. Logs are deleted after 14 days.
  • No third parties. Fonts, photos and map tiles are served from this site itself.
  • Links out. LinkedIn, Oferteo and the Microsoft Bookings calendar open their own sites, which have their own policies.

Your rights

  • If you contact me by e-mail, phone, Bookings or the forward-rate form on MarketWatch, I use your details only to answer you and arrange our work, and keep them for no longer than 12 months.
  • You may ask at any time what I hold about you, and ask me to correct or delete it (GDPR / RODO).
